“Taste your Senses – The Family Wines of The Duel”
Thanks to sponsors Wilson Daniels and Arnaldo Caprai winery, there is a three hour seated tasting seminar with world-renown Sommelier Charlie Arturaola who along with Sommelier Christopher Sawyer, an American ambassador for the Concours Mondial du Brussels, and Michael Traverso, Senior Brand Manager Italian Estates, will introduce wines from the grapes of the Italo-Argentinean comedy The Duel of Wine about a sommelier (starring Arturaola) who has lost his sense of taste. The film screens after the seminar.
Shot in some of Italy’s most evocative cities and wine regions from Piedmont and the Veneto to Umbria and Sardinia, the film is a madcap blend of comedy and emotion, wine tasting and infomercial, featuring cameos of winemakers and chefs playing themselves. Among them are the naturally comic Marco Caprai of Montefalco’s Arnaldo Caprai.
The tasting seminar dubbed “Taste your Senses – The Family Wines of The Duel” includes tastes of wines that are featured in the film including ;
