Description

Featuring internationally acclaimed Sonoma County farm to table chefs and restauranteurs Duskie Estes and John Stewart, “Down Home on the Zazu Farm” provides a behind-the-scenes look at two successful chefs committed to sustainability.

The documentary follows Duskie and John raising animals at their Forestville farm and cooking at their world renowned restaurant Zazu Kitchen + Farm in Sebastopol’s artisanal and culinary center The Barlow. On the farm and in the restaurant, the celebrated Sonoma County chefs entertainingly espouse their snout to tail philosophy — wasting no part of the animal — and discuss the importance of using only locally sourced, farm fresh seasonal produce; allowing each ingredient to speak for itself.
