A middle class couple Zeynep and Dundar living in their comfort zone are jogging by when their path in the forest intersects with Omar. Unexpectedly their lives change forever.

The story is based on Michael Buie’s stepdad Paul Kuntz, the prominent Kitchener businessman (Kuntz Electroplating) and philanthropist. He is the inspiration for Buie's film, about a man diagnosed with terminal cancer who decides to end his life on his own terms to save his family the pain of his gradual decline.

From Petaluma, the film travels to Point Reyes, where beekeeper Kevin Forrester builds eco-friendly hives, and then finally to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in Norway which stores an extensive collection of plant seed samples representing the world’s crop diversity.

The film is a collaboration with classically trained stage actor Mark Cohen, who honed his craft at Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) affiliate Guildhall in London.
