Description

At the top and bottom of a hill are two factories.  One is on the verge of bankruptcy while the other continues to profit.  In order to help her father, 19-year-old Yuriya accepts wealthy Hayato’s proposal for marriage.  But when things don’t go as expected, she is thrust into a world of confusion.


Director's Bio

Miyamoto Tomoko had several roles in media before settling on filmmaking. She worked in a broadcasting office and as a researcher for TV. She also learned screenwriting through the Scenario Center in Osaka. At the 2014 Isama Studio Film Festival in Gunma she won Best Scenario and Best Short awards for “This Uphill Climb.”
